CRITERIA FOR MANUSCRIPTS

All submitted manuscripts must meet the following criteria:

  • The work must be original and unpublished.

  • Writing should be clear, concise, and unambiguous.

  • Data and sources must be authentic, verifiable, and credible.

  • Arguments, discussions, and conclusions must be logical, reasoned, and well-supported.

  • Content should be relevant, informative, and engaging to an academic and professional audience.

  • Manuscripts may belong to any discipline or interdisciplinary domain.

Manuscripts should be submitted through the official website:

  • Title Page

  • Main Manuscript

CHECKLIST FOR MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION

  • Covering Letter (with list of potential reviewers)

  • Main Manuscript:

    • Title Page

    • Abstract & Keywords

    • Main Text

    • References

  • Scanned copy of Copyright Transfer Form signed by all authors


PREPARATION OF MANUSCRIPTS

Manuscripts must be arranged in the following order:

  1. Title

  2. Abstract

  3. Keywords

  4. Introduction

  5. Methodology (if applicable)

  6. Analysis / Discussion

  7. Conclusion

  8. References

Formatting Guidelines

  • Manuscripts must be prepared in MS Word

  • Sections should be numbered sequentially (1, 1.1, 1.2, etc.)

  • Images must be 300 dpi minimum resolution

  • Figures and tables should be inserted at appropriate locations

First Page (Title Page)

  • Title of Manuscript

  • Author(s) Name(s)

  • Institutional Affiliation(s)

  • Email ID(s)

  • Corresponding Author details

  • Acknowledgements & Conflict of Interest (if any)

Second Page

  • Abstract (≤ 300 words)

  • Keywords (Maximum 6)

Third Page Onwards

  • Introduction

  • Methodology (if applicable)

  • Analysis & Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • References


TYPES OF MANUSCRIPTS ACCEPTED

1. Review Articles

  • Length: 10–45 pages

  • Comprehensive literature review

  • Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Discussion, Conclusion, References required

2. Research Articles

  • Length: 10–45 pages

  • Original research across all disciplines

  • Structured format mandatory

3. Case Studies / Case Reports

  • Must have strong academic, professional, or policy relevance

  • Clear facts, background, analysis, implications

4. Short Communications

  • Up to 1000 words

  • Preliminary or concise findings

  • Maximum 10 pages

5. Letters to the Editor

  • Maximum 500 words

  • Focused academic or professional commentary

6. Announcements

  • Conferences, awards, workshops, courses

  • Maximum 100 words


REFERENCING STYLE

  • The Redwood Journal follows Harvard Referencing Style

  • In-text citations: [1], [1–5], [1, 3, 4–8]

  • References must be numbered in order of appearance

  • No italics, bold, or underlining in references


ETHICAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF AUTHORS

  • Accurate reporting and transparency

  • Disclosure of conflicts of interest

  • No plagiarism or duplicate submissions

  • Proper acknowledgment of all sources

  • Authorship limited to substantial contributors

  • Compliance with research ethics and data integrity


COPYRIGHT & DECLARATION

A signed Copyright Transfer Form must be submitted at the time of submission or within two weeks. Submission implies consent to publication upon acceptance.
