Dr. Garret Raja Immanuel is an Assistant Professor of English at Nazareth Margoschis College in Pillaiyanmanai, Tamil Nadu, where he has been teaching since October 2018. Before this role, he served as an Assistant Professor of English at St. John's College, Palayamkottai from August 2017 to 2018.
Dr. Immanuel has made substantial contributions to the field of English literature and interdisciplinary studies, with over 30 research papers published on various topics including Medical Humanities, Graphic Medicine, Memory Studies, Gerontology, and Posthumanism. His academic journey includes a doctoral thesis on Gabriel Garcia Marquez, focused on existentialism, completed at Sarah Tucker College under the affiliation of Manonmaniam Sundarnar University.
He is also noted for his presentations and invited lectures, having delivered over 25 lectures at various academic institutions, covering a wide range of topics within the literary domain. Dr. Immanuel's scholarly works include articles on a diverse array of topics, such as a Foucauldian critique of social constructions in Amish Tripathi's The Immortals of Meluha and explorations of ecological and gender issues in literature.
